Team Liquid is expanding into new gaming territories, with a focus on competitive success. The organization’s Brazilian manager, Rafael Queiroz, recently shared insights into their strategy during Gamescon Latam 2025. Team Liquid has entered two new gaming arenas: Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and Crossfire (CF). Both will compete in the Esports World Cup (EWC).
ESports World Cup Connection
Rafael Queiroz highlighted the EWC’s significance in their decision-making. “We have a strong focus on EWC results,” Queiroz said. Last year, Team Liquid ranked second overall as an organization. This year, they’ve expanded their program, adding two Brazilian teams and six or seven globally, all targeting EWC success.
The organization’s TFT lineup features three Brazilian players: “eusouolucas”, “vclf”, and “bapzera”. Notably, “eusouolucas” secured third place in the last TFT World Championship in March.
- Team Liquid’s TFT expansion is a strategic move to boost their competitive presence.
- Their new lineup is set to compete in major TFT tournaments.

In Crossfire, Team Liquid has assembled a strong lineup featuring:
- Caio “Goken” Santos
- Nicolas “77” Lisboa
- Daniel “DANIMAL” Polidoro
- Lukas “Lkk” Rodrigues
- Deivison “Ryuzao” Cruz
This team recently finished as runners-up in the Brazilian championship, narrowly missing the top spot.
