A group of 150 Dominican teachers and musicians will receive training and musical reinforcement through a high-profile academic program offered by prestigious UK higher education institutions.
This initiative is a way of raising the knowledge in the cultural field and holder of a part of the members of the national art sector.
After the signing of the agreement by the Royal Northern College of Music, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music of the United Kingdom (ABRSM), and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, the educational day will be given in the Dominican Republic next anus.
The agreement was announced in the office of the head of Mescyt, Franklin GarcÃa FermÃn, in the presence of the United Kingdom’s ambassador to the country, Mockbul Ali, in the presence of MÃa Vidal, ABRSM’s representative in the country, and Jacqueline Pérez, in charge of communications from the british embassy
“This program represents one more step in favor of this goal,” said Ali, who thanked Minister GarcÃa FermÃn for his vision and leadership for recognizing the value of art, music and culture, and for today being part of promoting them in this country.
The program will be carried out by the Royal Northern College of Music University and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. On his side, the head of the Mescyt, thanked the British government for the gesture of the Dominican musicians.
