Yu Darvish pitched into the sixth inning to reach 100 career wins, and was supported by five home runs for the San Diego Padres, who beat the Colorado Rockies 9-6 on Friday.

Dominicans Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis and Gary Sánchez each contributed home runs. Trent Grisham and Brandon Discon completed the home run tally as the Padres won back-to-back games, something they hadn’t done since May 25-26.

Darvish (5-4) reached the win milestone after allowing four earned runs and five hits. He struck out six and walked four in 5 1/3 innings.

Jake Cronenworth had three hits for the second straight game for San Diego after hitting just .198 in his first 60 games of the season. After missing the previous four duels with left wrist pain, Xander Boagaerts had two runs and two hits.

Josh Hader earned his 14th save of the season. The defeated was Austin Gomber (4-5).

For the Padres, the Dominicans Tatis 4-2 with two runs scored and one RBI, Juan Soto 5-2 with one run scored, Machado 5-2 with one run scored and two RBIs, Sánchez 5-1 with one run scored and two driven.

For the Rockies, Venezuelans Elías Díaz 5-1 with a run scored, Harold Castro 2-0, Ezequiel Tovar 4-1 with an RBI. The Dominican Elehuris Montero 1-1 with two RBIs. The Mexican Alan Trejo from 1-0.
