Tampa Bay Buccaneers backup QB Blaine Gabbert helps save four people after helicopter crash

The incident was reported around 5pm when the aircraft was heading to Peter O. Knight Airport in Tampa, Florida; The helicopter carried a pilot and three passengers who were unharmed.

How did the events occur?

According to the crew members’ statements, after hearing a loud bang, the helicopter lost power and sent them overboard.

Two jet skis came to his aid, one of them being driven by the quarterback Blaine Gabbertwho helped them get them ashore.
