Taliban React to Blacklisting of Haqqani Family

KABUL: The Taliban has accused the United States of violating the Doha Accords, saying blacklisting the Haqqani network violates the agreement.

According to the details, the Afghan Taliban has said that the US blacklisting of Haqqani family members is a violation of the Doha agreement, the Haqqani family is still being targeted, while it is part of the Islamic Emirate, no Haqqani family No separate identity or organization.

It should be noted that the Doha agreement called for the removal of Taliban leaders from the blacklist, which was signed by the parties in 2020.

Sirajuddin Haqqani has been named Interior Minister in the new Taliban government. He has been part of the Haqqani Network. He has been accused of attacking US forces during the 20-year war in Afghanistan. He also had a dollar reward and was added to the US terror list.

Many other members of the group, including the new government’s prime minister, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, are also blacklisted globally.

It may be recalled that today the name of Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul has been changed, the name of Hamid Karzai Airport has been changed to Kabul International Airport.
