KABUL: The Afghan Taliban have deposited millions of dollars and gold recovered from the homes of former government officials at the Central Bank.
According to foreign media, the Taliban have deposited gold bricks from the homes and offices of former government officials and corrupt rulers in the Central Bank to strengthen the Islamic Emirate economically.
The Taliban have also deposited کروڑ 12 million in the central bank.
According to media reports, the number of homeless families has increased in the Afghan capital, Kabul. In view of the situation, the Taliban have allowed citizens to withdraw up to 1,000 rupees from banks.
It may be recalled that the Taliban had frozen the assets of senior government officials, including former Vice President Amrullah Saleh, yesterday.
