He called the series Ken Levine’s legacy, noting its massive success over the years. This new game needs to keep the core feel of Bioshock, known as its “DNA,” while also taking a huge leap forward. Zelnick said this balance is a challenge they are always ready to face.
Reports have indeed hinted at various problems during the game’s creation. For example, a planned remake of the first Bioshock game was scrapped earlier this year.
