Tag Heuer: New Caliber smartwatches hit the market at a higher price than the Apple Watch Ultra

Not long ago, Tag Heuer made its debut in the smartwatch segment and is now launching two more new Caliber models.

One device is intended for playing golf, while the other is specially designed for the sport. But both come at a price that starts at 2,500 euros, being more expensive than Apple’s Watch Ultra.

It wasn’t long ago that Tag Heuer made its debut in the smartwatch segment, but just like in the conventional watch market, the brand opted for luxury models with options aimed at various sports.

The new models in the Caliber E4 line are no exception to the rule and come with options dedicated to both golf and serious sports.

Let’s start with the Connected Caliber E4 Golf, which supports more than 40,000 courses, spread all over the world, and the box includes a set of three balls, a golf ball marker and even a base to charge the model with a USB Type-C tube. c.

The model is equipped with a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a resistant sapphire glass and provides a resolution of 454×454 pixels. It runs on Google’s WearOS operating system, is compatible with smartphones running Android 6.0 or higher and iOS 13 or higher, and features NFC and Wi-Fi wireless communications.

It integrates barometer, compass, ambient light sensor and also has heart rate monitoring functionality.

In addition, the new Connected Caliber E4 Golf also performs automatic tracking, recording the user’s score and other parameters associated with this modality.

It comes at an equally luxurious cost of 2,550 euros, and is already available for purchase on the brand’s website.

For its part, the Tag Heuer Connected Caliber E4 Sport Edition arrives at a cost of 2,500 euros and is already available for purchase.

This model has a new bracelet that was specially designed to allow the skin to breathe properly during sports. The integrated Trail & Hiking app, when combined with the handheld device’s barometer, makes a more accurate assessment of the athlete’s performance.

Like its golf counterpart, it has a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen on sapphire crystal that provides a resolution of 454×454 pixels. It also runs the WearOS operating system and comes with the Tag Heuer Wellness and Sports apps (including running, cycling, swimming, and more) already pre-installed.
