League of Legends powerhouse T1 clinched its sixth world championship on Sunday, securing an unprecedented third consecutive title at the Worlds 2025 final.
The historic victory came after a fiercely contested 3-2 series triumph over rival KT Rolster. The win solidified T1’s dominance in the esports landscape, extending their consecutive championships from 2023 and 2024 into 2025.
Veteran mid-laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok led T1 to its latest global title. The team’s earlier world championship wins were in 2013, 2015, and 2016.

KT Rolster entered the championship match on November 9 undefeated throughout the Worlds 2025 tournament. The runner-up team demonstrated strong opposition despite the loss.
The best-of-five series saw T1 take the first game before KT Rolster leveled the score. T1 then won the third game, only for KT to force a decisive fifth match, where T1 ultimately secured the championship.
