Swiatek, the number one in the world, secures a place in the semi-finals of Rome

The Polish Iga Switek, number one in the world, got a place in the semifinals of the WTA 1,000 in Rome on Friday after beating the Canadian Bianca Vanessa Andreescu in two sets, 7-6 (2) and 6-0.
