Superintendency warns about two companies not authorized to operate in the stock market

The Superintendency of Securitiesthrough a statement published on its website, warned about natural or legal persons, financial instruments and activities not authorized to operate in the stock market.

In warning notices published this Thursday, the Superintendency reported that the companies Harvest Trading CAP, SRL and Sporous Capital Investment Group, SRLnor the individuals associated with them, are registered in the Securities Market Registry, and therefore They do not have the authorization of the Superintendency to carry out activities in the stock market.

The entity explained that "in the face of news about schemes to raise public funds and potentially fraudulent investments and individual inquiries received" has issued the circular 02-23, where it informs the public that it will be issuing warning notices about natural or legal persons, financial instruments and unauthorized activities to trade in the stock market.

"In order to inform and protect the public, the The Superintendency published, through its digital communication channels, the first warnings of persons not authorized to operate in the stock market of the Dominican Republic"indicates the statement.

The Superintendency reiterated to the public that the information on the participants in the stock market authorized, registered and regulated by the institution is available in the Securities Market Registry section from their website: www.simv.gob.do.
