Sunil Anand was born on June 30, 1956. Father Dev Anand wanted to make his son a Bollywood superstar like him and he worked hard for that. After completing school, Sunil Anand studied business administration at Washington University and then entered Bollywood.
Dev Anand gave his full support to his son Sunil Anand's Bollywood debut. He made a film called Anand Aur Anand for his son Sunil. He took over the direction himself and also invested money in the film. Even acted in son Sunil's first film. He hoped that if he starred in the film it would become a box office hit, but that didn't happen. After its release in 1984, Anand Aur Anand failed at the box office.
