The battle royale game Super People is getting another shot at success. After a lackluster launch in 2021 and a quick decline, the game shut down in 2023. Despite efforts to fix issues, it just didn’t stick.
A new try
Game developer Wonder People is giving it another go. They just announced a closed beta test for the game’s new version, starting June 19th at 5:00 AM. Interested players can sign up now until the test ends on June 25th.
In Super People, players are super soldiers with unique powers, fighting to be the last team standing. The game wasn’t bad, but it didn’t stand out from the crowd either. As a result, player numbers dwindled, and it shut down.
What’s next?
Will this new attempt revive interest in the game? Only time will tell. The closed beta test is the first step towards finding out. Players who sign up will get to experience the new version and see if it’s enough to draw them back in.
