Excitement for Super Bowl LX 2026 is building following the announcement of a diverse lineup of performers for both the halftime show and pre-game ceremonies.
Global superstar Bad Bunny is set to headline the iconic Super Bowl halftime show. He was announced as the performer in September 2025.
"What I am feeling goes beyond me," Bad Bunny stated in a release. "It is for those who came before me and ran countless yards for me to get in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Go tell your grandma, that we will be the Super Bowl Halftime Show."

His selection sparked some debate among conservative commentators regarding his nationality and language. Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, making Puerto Ricans U.S. citizens.
The artist addressed the controversy during his Saturday Night Live monologue in October 2025. He joked that "even Fox News" was happy about his performance. "Really, I’m very excited to perform at the Super Bowl and I know people all over the world who love my music are also happy," he added.
The NFL also announced additional performers for the pre-game show in December 2025.
Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem. "I can’t believe I’m saying this… I will be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LX," Puth shared on Instagram. He has also explained to athletes how vocally challenging "The Star-Spangled Banner" is to perform.

Brandi Carlile will perform "America the Beautiful."

Coco Jones will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing." Jones reacted to the announcement on Instagram with a celebratory emoji.
Sign language interpreters will accompany the musical acts. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter Fred Beam will perform alongside Charlie Puth and Coco Jones. Julian Ortiz, also an ASL interpreter, will join Brandi Carlile. Puerto Rican Sign Language interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme will perform during Bad Bunny’s halftime show, ensuring a multilingual program.
"Super Bowl Sunday is the world’s biggest entertainment stage, and we’re proud to highlight artists who represent the best of music and culture," said Jon Barker, NFL Senior Vice President of Global Event Production. "These artists bring a distinctive voice to the moment, setting the stage for a day that will captivate fans worldwide."
