Sunny Deol has given so many flop movies he can’t count. Will respect be saved from Gadar 2?

Sunny Deol is making headlines these days with his upcoming film Gadar 2. This film is a sequel to his blockbuster hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which is expected to hit theaters on August 11 this year. Sunny’s film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” may have had a lot of public appeal, but Sunny Deol’s many films have flopped one after the other.

Sunny Deol has high hopes for his film “Gadar 2”. His film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” grossed Rs 78 million in total. Since then, however, none of Sunny Deol’s films have achieved anything special at the box office. From his film Yamla Pagla Deewana to its sequels to Jo Bole So Nihal, many films have turned out to be flops or disasters.

Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra Main Movie Yamla Pagla Deewana was released in 2011. The film did not meet with a particular response from the audience. Then, two years later, that is, in 2013, the sequel to the film “Yamla Pagla Divan 2” was released, which turned out to be a flop at the box office. After 5 years in 2018 also “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2” was released but also this movie was hit badly.

After Gadar came Sunny Deol’s film Maa Tujhe Salaam, which, however, failed badly at the box office. Sunny’s two films, Khel and Jaal, hit theaters in 2003, but both were in poor shape. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reunited in the movie Teesri Aankh, but that movie didn’t do magic at the box office either. In 2016, Sunny Deol’s film Ghayal Once Again hit theaters, but it too flopped grossing 35.7 crores.
