Summary and results of baseball in the Central American and Caribbean Games | June 26th

The activity in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 continues its march and in regards to baseball we reached the third day of actions.

Panorama first day of activities

On the first day (June 24) Mexico beat Cuba’s ninth team 4-0 in the opening game of the tournament.

Venezuela obtained the 4-3 victory over Puerto Rico; Dominican Republic added the 6-5 victory against Nicaragua; Finally, Curaçao with an overwhelming step passed over El Salvador 12-4.

Panorama second day of activities

During the second day (June 25), Venezuela achieved its second victory by winning 5-2 against the Dominican Republic; Cuba beat Curaçao 4-2.

Nicaragua did the same 3-1 over Puerto Rico; while Mexico earned its second victory of the tournament, now 4-0 over El Salvador.

These are the results of the third day of activities, Monday June 26

The game between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico; and Curacao against Mexico were suspended due to rain and are awaiting a possible rescheduling.

  • The game between Cuba and Venezuela is still in progress, so far those from the island remain up 2-0 against the South Americans (it is also suspended due to rain).

El Salvador and the Dominican Republic will close activity on the third day of activities at 8:00 p.m. local time.

For Tuesday, June 27, the games are scheduled as follows:

  • Venezuela vs. curacao | 09:30 a.m. local time
  • Mexico vs. Nicaragua | 1:00 p.m. local time
  • Puerto Rico vs. Cuba | 4:30 p.m. local time
  • Dominican Republic vs. The Savior | 8:00 p.m. local time
