Sudesh Lehri Roasts Elvish Yadav on His Own Podcast

The comedy world has been abuzz with the latest banter between renowned comedian Sudesh Lehri and popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav. In a recent episode of Elvish’s podcast, Sudesh Lehri pulled no punches as he took a humorous jab at YouTubers, leaving the audience in stitches. The comedian pointed out the irony of how YouTubers invite guests to their podcasts for free but demand exorbitant amounts of money when they’re invited to appear on TV shows like “Laughter Shields.” This witty remark was particularly noteworthy, given that both Sudesh and Elvish are currently part of the “Laughter Shields 2” cast.

During the podcast, Sudesh Lehri shared his thoughts on the vast difference between his own journey in the comedy world and that of YouTubers. He noted, “I’ve worked tirelessly on TV for years, from Doordarshan to Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao, and now Laughter Shields. I’ve done numerous shows on TV. These YouTubers, on the other hand, directly invite artists to their podcasts for free and make money off of it themselves.” This statement highlighted the disparity between the traditional TV comedy scene and the newer realm of online content creation.

Sudesh Roasts Elvish with His Sharp Wit

Sudesh didn’t hold back, as he continued to roast Elvish good-naturedly. He said, “When you ask these YouTubers to come on Laughter Shields, they throw tantrums – ‘I’ll charge this much, I’m coming from Gurgaon, it’ll cost me this much, I have a 3 crore rupee car.’ They can’t just come like that.” Elvish couldn’t contain his laughter at Sudesh’s pointed remarks, which seemed to hit a bit too close to home.

Elvish Opens Up About His Financial Struggles

The conversation took a more personal turn when Elvish began discussing his financial struggles. He shared, “I’ve experienced poverty before. Now I have a J-vegan, but earlier we had a Vegan R. We still have that car.” Sudesh quickly seized the opportunity to respond with another lighthearted jab, saying, “Thank God your face looks like that of a rich person now.” Elvish retorted, “Earlier, my face looked like that of a poor person, but it’s improved now.” Sudesh couldn’t resist adding, “Money can change even the biggest of faces.” This exchange showcased the playful dynamic between the two comedians, as they effortlessly traded witty remarks back and forth.
