Sudan’s Defense Ministry calls up reservists

Khartoum (BLAZETRENDS) ) of “attacking innocent citizens.”

This decision is a consequence of the “rebellion (of the FAR) and their attack on honest and innocent citizens who they use as human shields, loot their property and occupy their homes,” the department reported in a statement shared on Friday through its account. Twitter official.

Defense made this call on the fourth day of the truce mediated by Saudi Arabia and the United States, hours after the mediators themselves highlighted in a joint statement “an improvement in respect for the short-term ceasefire and humanitarian arrangements in Sudan ”, despite the fact that there were some violations.

For its part, the Rapid Support Forces, which have previously denied all these accusations, stated that this appeal “clearly reflects the desperation and confusion of the coup leaders and their failure to confront our forces on the battlefield.”

According to the FAR statement, this call to arms by the Ministry of Defense is an “attempt to take refuge in innocent citizens to fight on their behalf instead of preserving the security of defenseless citizens,” while considering that the Army “intends to unleash a civil war.”
