Sudan 200 killed more than 100 injured in language riots

At least 213 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in violence between two tribal groups in Sudan’s western Darfur region.

Local Sudanese authorities have confirmed 200 dead and more than 100 injured in fresh clashes in western Darfur. Clashes broke out between non-Arab Masalit tribes and Arab fighters near the state capital of West Darfur, Algina.

International media quoted an independent aid group working for refugees and displaced persons in Darfur as saying that the violence started on Friday when some armed men offered condolences to the tribes in exchange for killing two tribesmen. Attacked the villages.
