Filmmaker Subhadra Mahajan’s black-and-white movie “Second Chance” is coming to Indian theaters next month. The Indian release date has been announced, and fans can mark their calendars for June 13.
The film made its world premiere at the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and its Asia premiere at the 28th Busan International Film Festival last year. Produced by Shyam Bora, with Pan Nalin and Swapnil S. Sonawane as executive producers, “Second Chance” follows the story of a woman named Miya. After a traumatic event, Miya seeks solace in the Himalayas, where she meets the caretaker of her family’s summer home. As Miya navigates her grief, she encounters characters who, despite facing hardships, strive to find happiness.
Storyline
The film explores human relationships and Miya’s journey as she copes with her pain. It shows how she learns to find peace and rediscover herself. “Second Chance” is distributed by Platoon One Films.
