Style Profile, the new Zalando function that allows you to know the size

Zalando, the German e-commerce company has developed a new feature known as the Style Profile. This tool makes buying easier for users, since it allows insert the measurements of the client’s body and know exactly what their sizes are. The objective of this is to decrease the number of returns and increase sales.

“This function allows us to better understand the needs of our customers, especially those users who buy from Zalando for the first time”, affirmed the company it’s a statement.

More about Style Profile, different sections

Zalando’s new feature includes different sections, such as In Your Sizes or In Your Brands. The first allows you to filter all the garments on the platform according to the sizes, that is, instead of going garment by garment seeing if they have your size or not, with this filter you can find any garment of the same size. As for the second section, In Your Brands, it allows you to filter all the products according to the user’s brand preferences.

This incorporation supposes a increase in clientele, and, above all, of the confidence of consumers on the platform. However, it is not the first time that Zalando has done something like this. It was at the end of 2020, when the company acquired the fission control, Swiss start – up. This carried out a machine vision software that allowed to visualize models of garments in three dimensions of totally different bodies. This was a boom, and more so now with the incorporation of this new tool, since it will help most customers to buy online.
