Stellar Blade X Account Restored After Week-Long Hack

It’s a digital jungle out there, and even the biggest names aren’t safe from online tricksters. For over a week, fans of the upcoming game Stellar Blade faced a frustrating situation. The official X account for the game, run by developer Shift Up, was hijacked by scammers.

During this time, the account turned into a platform for cryptocurrency scams. Fraudulent posts popped up, promising fake “airdrop” rewards. These messages often included flashy images, trying to lure people into clicking dangerous links. Kim Hyung-Tae, the founder of Shift Up, even had to use his personal X account to warn players about these malicious posts. He urged everyone to be careful and not fall for the tricks.

Thankfully, the digital nightmare is over. Shift Up confirmed that they successfully regained control of the Stellar Blade X account. It’s a relief for both the developers and the game’s eager community.

The team quickly put out a statement once the account was back to normal. They admitted the long wait was tough for everyone.

“We apologize for the long wait,” the statement from SHIFTUP : Studio EVE read.
“Our official account has now been fully recovered.
We take this incident very seriously. We will do everything to prevent it from happening again.
With respect,
SHIFTUP : Studio EVE”

This whole event highlights how important online security is. Even official game accounts can become targets. It’s a good reminder for all of us to stay alert and think twice before clicking on suspicious links, especially when free crypto is promised.
