Statement by Kamal Haasan on the Bollywood-South Industry controversy

Kamal Haasan recently came to Mumbai to promote his movie ‘Vikram’ and here he gave his reaction on ‘Pan India’. Not only this, Kamal Haasan described his film ‘Vikram’ as a pan-Indian film. The actor said, “The film speaks the language of the world. We live in a country of diversity but unity. Although as a country we don’t speak a language, we proudly sing the national anthem. I’ve seen it since childhood.”

According to Kamal Haasan, movies bring human beings together. The actor said, “The movie brings people together. The movie theater is the only place where you don’t question the cast and the status of people sitting down. It’s not a southern movie that’s making it big, it’s an Indian movie.” . It’s better than Hollywood blockbuster movies. We should respect each other. Movies don’t have language.”
