The Stars will strengthen their starting pitching rotation, with the integration of three imports, all left-handed, who will be in action in the coming days.
The new starting pitchers for the Stars are Panamanian Andy Otero, Venezuelan Enmanuel de Jesús and North American Buddy Baumann.
Otero will arrive in the country next Saturday, ready to join the club, after pitching in Taiwan baseball. De Jesús has been in the country for several days and Baumann arrives in the country this Thursday.
The lefty Otero pitched with the Stars in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. His earned run averages (ERAs) in the regular series of those tournaments were: 1.10 and 1.79, respectively. Last season he went 3-0. In the Round Robin his record was 1-0, with 0.84 ERA, in two games.

In his 8-year minor league career, the 25-year-old pitcher is 44-40. His earned run average is 3.92.
Baumann is an experienced left-handed pitcher, who between 2016 and 2018 worked in the Major Leagues, for the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets, in those cases as a reliever.
However, in the minor leagues of organized baseball and other circuits, Baumann has been a starting pitcher.
In 2022, the 34-year-old pitcher saw action in a game in the Taiwan Professional Baseball League; in 8 games in the Mexican League and in 5 games in the American Association (independent league in the United States).
