It’s not a Bollywood movie, but the South Indian RRR movie has received incredible acclaim around the world. To say that SS Rajamouli has created cinematic gold is an understatement. The film is making headlines again as it is now nominated in the Hollywood Critics Association’s Best Picture category.
RRR, starring Ram Charan and NTR Jr., competes with movies like Top Gun Maverick with Tom Cruise and The Batman with Robert Pattinson. The news was shared via RRR’s official Twitter handle. They wrote that they were happy that RRR was nominated for Best Picture at HCA Critics.
In addition to RRR, Top Gun Maverick and The Batman, Cha Cha Real Smooth, Elvis Movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Northman and others have been nominated.
The Hindi version of the film is available on Netflix. There is a bit of a Bollywood tinge to the film as Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt play two minor roles.
