SRK Motivates KKR to Defeat RCB in IPL Opener

IPL 2025 is just around the corner, and the excitement is building up. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, is doing his part to boost the team’s morale. In a video shared on the team’s social media account, Khan is seen motivating the players ahead of their first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Khan’s pep talk is reminiscent of his iconic role in the movie “Chak De India,” where he played the coach of the Indian women’s hockey team. The team went on to win the final match, and Khan’s character was instrumental in boosting their confidence. Now, he’s trying to work his magic on the Kolkata Knight Riders.

This season, Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the team as captain for the first time. Although he has played for KKR before, this is his first stint as captain. Rahane has had a successful IPL career, with 4,642 runs in 185 matches, including two centuries and 30 half-centuries. He’s currently ranked 12th in the list of highest run-scorers in IPL history and could soon join the 5,000-run club.

Rahane was unsold in the first round of the IPL 2025 mega auction but was picked up by KKR for 2 crores in the second round. As the team prepares to take on RCB, Khan’s motivational speech is just what they need to get their spirits high. Will Rahane’s leadership and Khan’s motivation be enough to take the team to victory? Only time will tell.
