Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by two wickets in a thrilling match. In this stunning game, Sri Lanka won with the last ball of the last over. Pathum Nishanka (29 runs) and Kushal Perera (17 runs) got off to a good start for Sri Lanka but Shadab Khan overtook Perera with an excellent throw. The partnership of these two helped Pakistan score 102 runs in the last 10 overs. Shafiq scored 52 runs in 69 balls with three fours and two sixes. Iftikhar Ahmed also batted brilliantly for Pakistan in the last 10 overs. He scored 47 runs in 40 balls. It was only thanks to Rizwan, Shafiq and Iftikhar that the Pakistan team was able to achieve a respectable result. Pakistan scored 252 runs for a loss of 7 wickets. Sri Lanka reached the target of 252 runs under Duckworth-Lewis. Matisha Pathirana was Sri Lanka’s most successful bowler, taking three wickets for 65 runs.
