Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by two wickets in a thrilling match. In this stunning game, Sri Lanka won with the last ball of the last over. With the victory, Sri Lanka made it to the final and will now face India in the final on September 17th. Batting first, Pakistan gave Sri Lanka a target of 252 runs, which Sri Lanka achieved by losing two wickets. Kushal Mendis played a brilliant innings for Sri Lanka. Charit Aslanka scored 49 points. Thanks to him, the Sri Lankan team managed to win the game.

Pathum Nishanka (29 runs) and Kushal Perera (17 runs) got off to a good start for Sri Lanka but Shadab Khan overtook Perera with an excellent throw. After these two, Kushal Mendis and Sadira Samarawickrama fought brilliantly. Both players kept up the pace. But Sadira (48 runs) was out on the ball from Iftikhar Ahmed. Rizwan-Shafiq scored centuries

In the match against Sri Lanka, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first, which turned out to be wrong. Pakistan got off to a very poor start in the game against Sri Lanka. Scored a lot of runs in the last 10 overs

Mohammad Rizwan added 108 runs for the sixth wicket along with Iftikhar Ahmed (47 runs) to help Pakistan post a strong finish. The partnership of these two helped Pakistan score 102 runs in the last 10 overs. Shafiq scored 52 runs in 69 balls with three fours and two sixes. Iftikhar Ahmed also batted brilliantly for Pakistan in the last 10 overs. He scored 47 runs in 40 balls. It was only thanks to Rizwan, Shafiq and Iftikhar that the Pakistan team was able to achieve a respectable result. Pakistan scored 252 runs for a loss of 7 wickets. Sri Lanka reached the target of 252 runs under Duckworth-Lewis. Matisha Pathirana was Sri Lanka’s most successful bowler, taking three wickets for 65 runs. Pramod Madusan took two wickets for 58 runs.
