Sporting CP players recently underscored the vital importance of fostering strong relationships with club sponsors and partners during a gala event.
The Gala Honoris Sporting, held Wednesday evening at Alvalade, brought together several first-team football players.
Players Nuno Santos, Zeno Debast, and João Virgínia later emphasized the significance of the occasion in statements broadcast Thursday on the club’s channel.
Nuno Santos, noting it was his sixth season, highlighted the established connections. He stated it was crucial to “maintain this connection and give this opening for them to take photos with us and catch up.”
Defender Zeno Debast added that these events are vital for players. He said it allows them “to know what they feel and think,” adding it’s “always good to get to know them.”
Goalkeeper João Virgínia echoed these sentiments. He pointed out that partners “are here supporting us in all games,” and the gala offers “the opportunity to talk with us and pass on their messages.”
