The air around Estádio José Alvalade always thickens when a certain rival comes to town. Sporting Club has just dropped the news that fans eagerly waiting for the upcoming clash against FC Porto can finally get their hands on tickets. This big match is set for Saturday at 8:30 PM.

The club announced ticket sales begin on Wednesday. As always for these high-demand games, there’s a specific plan in place. Only club members can buy tickets. They can do this either through the official website or at the stadium’s ticket offices. It’s a way to honor those who stand by the team through thick and thin.
The sales schedule is a bit like a seniority system. It gives the most dedicated members the first chance. On Wednesday, from 6:00 PM to 7:59 PM, members of 75 years or more, along with those holding special “Lion Seats” but without season tickets, get the first shot. Then, from 8:00 PM until 11:59 PM, it’s the turn for members with 50 or more years of loyalty.
Thursday brings more opportunities for long-standing supporters. From midnight until 11:59 AM, members of 40 years or more can purchase their seats. After that, between 12:00 PM and 3:59 PM, it opens to members with 30 years or more. Later in the day, from 4:00 PM to 7:59 PM, members of 20 years or more get their turn. Finally, on Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 11:59 PM, those with 10 years or more of membership can buy.
If any tickets are still available after Thursday, the sale continues into Friday. Members with five years or more of loyalty can buy from midnight until 11:59 AM. Then, from 12:00 PM to 3:59 PM, it’s for members of one year or more. Should there still be tickets left, all club members can buy them starting from 4:00 PM on Friday. This system makes sure the most loyal fans are rewarded for their dedication.
