Sporting CP coach Rui Borges has dramatically altered his starting lineup for Saturday’s Taça de Portugal fourth-round match against Marinhense.
The new Sporting eleven features João Virgínia in goal, with a defensive line comprising Vagiannidis, Eduardo Quaresma, Matheus Reis, and Ricardo Mangas.
The midfield includes Kochorashvili, Morita, and Salvador Blopa, supporting Trincão, Alisson, and Rodrigo Ribeiro in attack.
These significant changes mark a strategic shift as Sporting prepares to host Marinhense in the Portuguese Cup.
Marinhense’s starting lineup for the encounter will see Framelin between the posts. Their defense consists of Cristiano Abreu, Luiz Neto, Rafael Gomes, and Brahima Diallo.
