The trailer from last night revealed a major part of the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The role of the villains is a little clearer, as is that of Doctor Strange and the presence of the multiverse even if gray areas remain. If there is no longer any doubt that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will appear in the film, we haven’t seen them yet. What about Sandman, who had concluded his story arc and who finds himself propelled to the rank of villain? We will know all that when the film releases on December 17th.
However, the trailer revealed a bit more about the role of the Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina). Featured as one of the antagonists in the first trailer, the second is drastically different. About Doc Ock shocked fans when he was surprised not to find the Peter Parker of Tobey Maguire in the costume of theIron spider. In the following images, he appears to be conversing calmly with Ned, MJ and Peter and even seems to offer his help against the Doctor Strange.
Tom holland had previously explained that the Supreme Sorcerer and the Weaver will certainly not be friends in this new movie. A misunderstanding even seems to be brought to light in the trailer. Strange explains that the returning villains are all destined to die at the hands of Spiderman and that it must be so. To fart, deeply in disagreement, then tries to recover this famous cube, object of their dispute. the Doctor Octopus could then help Peter Parker especially since we see the latter, on a plane, projected out of a building by lightning Electro.

Having already known redemption in Spider-man 2, it is hard to imagine the Doctor Octopus become a simple villain again in No Way Home. He could then concentrate his efforts on helping To fart against other antagonists. Likewise, it could allow To fart to make the Doctor Strange that the solution is not to kill the bad guys but rather to find a way to send them home. More than a month to wait!
