How does Spider-Man: No Way Home end?

After hitting rock bottom with the passing of Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), Spidey is in trouble. To face the supervillains determined to do battle and to cure them of their anomalies, he receives the help of two other Spiderman, embodied by none other than Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, from previous films by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb. Together, the weavers manage to neutralize the wicked and Doctor Strange send all this beautiful, multiversal world home. But this referral also has a decisive price: Strange made it clear to To fart that no one will remember that he is Spiderman, which means that Ned, MJ and Happy Hogan will know neither pupil nor adam Peter Parker.

To fart chooses to assume this sacrifice and finds himself without anyone. More Ned, more MJ, more Happy, no more apartments. So here he was forced to rent a seedy studio like that of Tobey Maguire in the first trilogy and go about chasing crime thanks to a radio picking up frequencies from the police.

An end carried out effectively which allows to draw a line on the adventures of the MCU of To fart (maybe not definitive) in order to properly display its transition to the universe Sony, explanations:

Tom Holland Spider Man MCU
Spidey VS the Sinisters Six?

By ousting Peter Parker of its connivance with the events of MCU, No Way Home offers a fresh start to the spider-man that can be exploited at any time by Sony. The studio can reprise the character for a whole new story, without the need for a double mission: to tell a story of Spiderman and advance the MCU the same time. In any case, the negotiations went quickly since even before the exit of Spider-Man: No Way Home, a new trilogy has already been commissioned by Sony, always in close collaboration with Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios.

Unsurprisingly, the Spider-Man sequels should see The Weaver rub shoulders with an iconic group of villains in the comics: The Sinisters Six. Teased since Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, Adrian toomes aka the Vulture (Michael Keaton), is building a team of super villains. The Scorpion (Michael Mando) should be the second certain member while a return from Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) is still hoped for. However, it will be necessary to rely on Sony to perfect his team at high speed. Morbius will be released in early 2022, and the character is very popular with Adrian toomes for his team and a film Kraven the hunter is in preparation with JC Chandor and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Given that Morbius and the Vulture cross, “The Sinisters Six vs. Spidey” might well unfold inside the MCU, while being piloted independently by Sony. This would reserve the opportunity for Marvel to leave the character to Sony to build and live the project Sinisters Six, leaving a small window to reintroduce it into the MCU (and why not in a Young Avengers).

In summary, we should therefore see Tom holland continue to make his way in Spiderman, but on his side and with his key figures. Same thing for Venom (Tom Hardy). As soon as he arrives, his character returns to his dimension while leaving a trace of symbiote behind him. Tom hardy will therefore be able to enjoy a third solo film just as rotten as the previous ones and the universe Sony taking place in the MCU will be able to introduce a second Venom. Everything is ingenious at Marvel !

Even if Tom Holland kicks in on his future, he will likely be Spider-Man for a long time when this trilogy is formalized. In the meantime, the next step for the gigantic Spider-Verse will be to discover Daniel Espinosa’s Morbius, in theaters from January 26, 2022.
