The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home Internet exploded during the day of Tuesday August 24th. Fans of the weaver and the MCU could only be enthusiastic about the feedback fromAlfred Molina in Octopus and Jamie Foxx in Electro and those (almost) deeds of Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, Rhys Ifans as Lizard and Thomas Haden-Church as Sandman. However, there is still a long promotional campaign for the film, which should unveil many other mysteries. No Way Home could bring back Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) as a lawyer to help Peter Parker, and others suspect, at the turn of a freeze on images of the trailer, the presence of Tom Hardy’s Venom.
Remains a major unknown: Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Dead in Spider-Man: Far From Home, no fan really believed in his death and for good reason: in the comics, Mysterio (Quentin Beck of his real name) is an illusionist and known for having faked his own death over and over again. It is clearly not impossible that he could have done it in front of Peter Parker at the end of the previous film.
What is interesting is to see how Mysterio and Quentin Beck have a huge impact on Peter Parker. Now at the mercy of public opinion, known to all, the hero no longer has any place to hide, he and his family. Stuck in allegations where there will inevitably be pro-Mysterio and pro-Spider-Man, the weaver will never again be unanimous among the people of his universe. The only prospect for him: to make everyone forget their secret identity.
But considering the fact that Doctor Strange seems to have rigorously messed up his spell by indirectly triggering the multiverse, this prospect seems to be receding. And Marvel could very well opt for a return of Mysterio where he would come to expose his villainous plans to the general public, allowing Spiderman to find a little more peace of mind.

The 6th man of the Sinisters Six?
This could be an obvious possibility. By carefully analyzing the trailers, fans have noted the presence of five major antagonists from the previous ones. Spiderman : Octopus (Alfred Molina), the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe?), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman? (Thomas Haden Church?) And the Lizard? (Rhys Ifans?). A sixth thief is therefore missing. Knowing that the veracity of the elements of No Way Home is emerging more and more, and that an arrival of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield less and less room for doubt, Tom Holland’s Spidey would not rub shoulders with any villain he knows.
Let us add that the war between Mysterio and Spider-Man continues well beyond his alleged death. By having destroyed the life of his ex “partner”, Quentin Beck continues to haunt To fart. A return of the villain seems inevitable in order to conclude his narrative arc, to allow (or not) Peter to become a hero again in the eyes of the general public and above all to create surprise among the public. It could therefore be entirely concealed from the No Way Home promotional campaign although a surprise might be possible. Answer on December 17, 2021!
