Special announcement for Dubai Expo participants

Dubai: The UAE has announced a special prize for domestic and foreign participants in Expo 2012.

According to media reports, Dubai residents and international visitors visiting more than 200 pavilions in Dubai will receive special passports as souvenirs, it was announced in a press release.

According to the press release, the passport will encourage exhibitors to see as many pavilions as possible in the 182-day event and will also give them a chance to pick up their memorabilia at the end of the expo.

Officials said the special passport as a souvenir was introduced at the 1967 World’s Fair in Montreal. Themes are adorned with pavilions (Possible Mission, Opportunity Pavilion, A, Mobility Pavilion and Terra and Sustainability Pavilion).

According to media reports, the yellow passport will also have additional security features, including its unique number, passport size photo space, personal details of the passport holder, hidden watermark sketches, all in the process. Ensure that no two documents are identical.

As the UAE is also celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, this passport also pays tribute to the Father of the Nation, His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, with a special gold foil stamp on the page with his picture. The picture is from 1971, when the UAE was born as a nation.
