Spanish rugby player Kawa Leauma dies after accident in Amsterdam

Spanish rugby is mourning the death of Kawa Leauma. The player of AMPO Ordizia and XV del León, the Spanish rugby team, hHe died tonight after not being able to recover from the injuries suffered after an accident he had after the meeting between Spain and the Netherlands in Amsterdam, as reported by the Spanish Rugby Federation in a statement

Leauma suffered a serious accident last Saturday when he fell from a building for which he had to be admitted and operated urgently the same day. This Monday his situation worsened and he had to be operated on again, although finally the doctors could not do more to save his life due to the seriousness of the injuries suffered.

Leauma suffered this accident while at the premises of a sponsor of the Netherlands rugby team and fell by chance from an undetermined height. This caused serious injuries, including a head injury for which he had to be operated on.
