Spanish businessman denounces being a victim of extortion

A Spanish businessman identified as José Cristóbal Cayado denounced that he is a victim of blackmail and extortion by his ex-partner; a Dominican with whom he had a relationship and had a son.

According to the Spanish businessman’s lawyer, his ex-partner allegedly has bank accounts, an apartment and a SUV in his possession.

However, he indicated that he maintains control of said assets through false accusations and using their son as “bargaining currency.”

The lawyer also said that the ex-partner with whom she had a relationship allegedly requested about 375 thousand pesos of pension for child support.

The Spaniard’s lawyer filed a petition on Thursday asking for the cessation of “abuses” allegedly committed by Cristobal Cayado’s ex-partner.

She also asks the Judiciary for the possibility of being allowed to see the child she had with her ex-partner and the return of assets.
