Spain’s Alcaraz and Italy’s Sinner to Lead Davis Cup Group Stage Roster

Davis Cup 2024 Final Group Stage Nominations Announced

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has confirmed the players nominated to represent their nations at the Davis Cup 2024 Final Group Stage, set to take place from September 10-15.

Group A, held in Bologna (Italy), features defending champions Italy, led by world number one Jannik Sinner, along with the Netherlands, Belgium, and Brazil.

In Group B, held in Valencia (Spain), Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz will represent his country alongside Australia’s Alex de Minaur, the Czech Republic, France, and Canada.

Group C, held in Zhuhai (China), consists of Germany, the USA, Slovakia, and Chile.

Meanwhile, Group D, held in Manchester (United Kingdom), features Canada, Finland, Britain, and Argentina.

David Haggerty, ITF President, said, "It will be very exciting to see a good representation of the best players in the world representing their nations in September. Many of the nominees will also play at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Last year’s Davis Cup Final 8 was an incredible week, so I’m sure all 16 nations are highly motivated to book their place in Malaga."

Feliciano Lopez, Director of the 2024 Davis Cup Finals, added, "Representing your nation is a great honour, and the strength of the announced teams demonstrates how much the Davis Cup means for players around the world."
