The Spanish team, known as the Hispanics, suffered their first defeat of the summer in a preparatory match for the 2024 Paris Olympics, losing to Norway 35-29.
Early Control of Marker
Spain had control of the marker from the start, thanks to two early goals. The first goal was scored by Dani Dukhshebaev in a static attack, while the second goal was scored on the counterattack through Dani Fernandez. Norway responded quickly to level the clash before the 5th minute was up.

The exchange of blows continued until the team led by Jordi Rivera scored three consecutive goals, work of Agustin Married, Dani Fernandez, and Imanol Garciandia, establishing a maximum difference of 6:9 in the first half.
Norway’s Comeback
Norway would not give up, and under the guidance of Bjornsen and Blonz, they balanced the score again, signing their first advantage (13:12) after the 20th minute. This gave the Nordic team the necessary boost to accelerate in the final stretch and reach the rest with a comfortable 19:17 in their favor.
Spanish Team’s Efforts
The Spanish team returned to the track with renewed energy, achieving a significant reduction in the local offensive contribution (21:20) in the first bars. Spain grew from defending, but the Nordic team did the same to open a gap (24:21) again.
Norway’s Dominance
From that moment on, Norway intensified its dominance, generating a significant lead that they would not go below five goals at any time until the final whistle.
