However, the four-day week does not only have advantages. In fact, employees have seen their incomes drop by 6.5%. Nonetheless, that didn’t seem to bother the vast majority of employees who voted for. “I am very happy because I will be a dad in 3 weeks, and I could spend some time with my son after that depends on each one”, says Pablo Rodriguez, an employee of Desigual. The four-day week is increasingly attractive to the Spanish side, the government has released 10 million euros to launch a pilot project in 2022.
