Spain inflicts a severe thrashing on England (13-0)

Spain inflicted on Wednesday a severe thrashing on England by 13-0, which may be decisive in defining the leadership, in a match on the third day of the fifteenth edition of the European Women’s Roller Hockey Championship, which takes place in Mealhada (Portugal).

The meeting had no history beyond the scoring festival of the Spanish team, with Aina Florenza and Ona Castellví adding three goals each, with a superb performance by the Asturian Sara Roces, who scored four goals.

Ricard Muñoz’s team ended the first half with the score of 5-0 and the crash was sentenced, leaving the clean sheet at the end again and already accumulating a difference in favor of 19 goals in just two games, something that can be very important to define, next Friday, the first place in the table.

Spain will play tomorrow Thursday at 9:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time against the hosts of Portugal, who have not won the tournament since 2001, in what everyone considers a preview of the more than likely final on Saturday.
