Spac eureKING goes public

(AOF) – Euronext has announced the IPO of eureKING, the first French Special Purpose Acquisition Company (Spac) in the health sector dedicated to bioproduction. This introduction was carried out following the admission to trading and by direct listing of 15,000,000 preference shares and 15,000,000 ordinary share subscription warrants. The placement was made with qualified investors, for an amount of 10 euros per unit. The total amount raised represents 150 million euros.

eureKING’s ambition is to create a European bio-CDMO (Contract Development Manufacturing Organization) company listed on Euronext Paris, a major player in the field of outsourcing the shaping and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products, in order to support the development of new innovative therapies.

The eureKING Spac was founded by an international team of healthcare industry experts, including Michael Kloss, former resident and CEO of Panasonic Healthcare, GĂ©rard Le Fur, former CEO of Sanofi, Alexandre Mouradian, co-founder and director of eureKARE, Christophe Jean, strategic partner of the Private Equity fund Oraxys Environment, Hubert Olivier, president for France and Belgium of the pharmaceutical distribution and health services group McKesson, Rodolphe Besserve, CEO of eureKARE, by the through and on behalf of its affiliated entity, which is the leading European network of “biotech studios” specializing in the creation, financing and support of innovative biotechnology companies.
