South American Sub 17: already classified, Argentina closes against Brazil

With the classification already guaranteed for the next World Cup in the category, the Argentine national team Sub 17 will play this Sunday against Brazil, for the fifth and last date of the final hexagonal of the South American that has the Brazilians and Ecuador as leaders. The match will begin at 6:00 p.m. with transmission by TyC Sports and DirecTV Sports from the Atahualpa Olympic Stadium in Quito, Ecuador.

The title in this South American, which already has the four Conmebol World Cup places, will be defined after the Argentina-Brazil matches; Venezuela-Ecuador and Paraguay-Chile that will all go at the same time. Argentina comes from losing the undefeated against Ecuador by 1 to 0 and it is precisely the Ecuadorians who lead the positions with ten units and a goal difference in favor compared to Brazil, which has the same number of points. The albicelestes must win by a good difference and expect a defeat for Ecuador.

Led by Diego Placente, Argentina is third with seven units as a result of two wins, one draw and one fall, and behind is Venezuela with six. All of them have already qualified for the World Cup to be played in November at a venue to be defined after FIFA stripped Peru of that possibility for infrastructure reasons.
