Sooraj Pancholi is making a comeback to the big screen with the period action film “Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath”. The movie is set to release this month, marking his return after almost three years. In a recent interview, Sooraj expressed his excitement and gratitude about his comeback. He said, “This is a very inspiring and positive experience. I have great co-actors to work with, and now we’re promoting the film. The release date is just three days away, and I’m thrilled, happy, emotional, and grateful.”
Sooraj also shared his experience of shooting for the film, which involved a lot of action sequences. He said, “I got many injuries, but each injury made me feel like a warrior. So, I think the scars of war are good.” The film’s cast includes Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma, among others.
Suniel Shetty, who plays an important role in the film, emphasized the importance of telling stories like “Kesari Veer”. He said, “It’s not just for the young generation; when this came to me, I didn’t know the history of Somnath, and I didn’t know the history of these unsung heroes. So, for people like us… I believe such stories should be told, and what better way to do it than through cinema?” The film is set to release on May 23.
