Veteran filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and producer Mahaveer Jain are set to reunite for an upcoming family entertainer. This untitled project will star actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in lead roles.
Sooraj Barjatya, known for his signature family-centric cinema, will direct the new film. Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films will co-produce the venture.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news today, Saturday, via a social media post.

Filming for the new movie is slated to begin on November 1.
Barjatya and Jain previously collaborated on the 2022 film ‘Uunchai’. That movie featured a prominent ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, and Parineeti Chopra. It was well-received by audiences and performed strongly at the box office.
This new project adds to Ayushmann Khurrana’s active slate. He is also set to appear in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’, scheduled for a March 4, 2026, release coinciding with Holi.
Khurrana’s film ‘Thama’ is also set to release on October 21, timed for the Diwali festival.
