Via Twitter, the British branch of Sony announced that its next headphones will be unveiled on May 12. With the motto “The world starts here”, the event will start at 5:00 p.m.
THE puzzle left by Sony on that social network does not clarify that the theme of the event scheduled for that day will be the Sony WH-1000XM5. However, the accompanying image indicates that they are the new Japanese headphones.
According to the latest rumours, the Sony WH-1000XM5 will not be very different aesthetically from its predecessors. There will be small changes that will bring you closer to the design of Bose products, but nothing revolutionary.
Although the initial rumors pointed to an increase in the autonomy of the Sony WH-1000XM5, it seems that this will not happen. As we can see in photos of its box, the headphones will offer up to 30 hours of playback.
One of the novelties will be the change from the traditional on/off button to a sliding button. In this way, it will be easier for users to know when their headphones are on or off.
As for its noise cancellation technology, nothing has been advanced yet. However, this is already a feature with great results in this product, so even if Sony doesn’t mess with this technology, the results will be great.
