Sonu Sood Sells Mumbai Apartment for ₹8.10 Crore, ₹2.94 Cr Profit in 13 Years

Actor Sonu Sood often finds himself in the spotlight. He is known not just for his film roles but also for his amazing social work. Just yesterday, he was celebrating Bappa’s arrival at his home. Today, however, a different kind of news has everyone talking about him. It’s not about a new movie or another good deed. This time, the buzz is all about a property deal. Sonu has sold one of his apartments in Mumbai, making headlines for his real estate savvy.

The apartment, located in the swanky Mahalakshmi area of Mumbai, has been sold this month. Documents from Square Yards confirm the deal. Sonu parted with the property for a cool 8.10 crore rupees. Specifically, the apartment is in Lokhandwala Minerva. It features a carpet area of 1,247 square feet and a built-up area of 1,497 square feet. Plus, it comes with two handy parking spaces. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of 48.60 lakh rupees. Additionally, 30,000 rupees were paid for registration fees. Interestingly, a registration fee of 20 lakh rupees was also levied.

This sale turned out to be quite profitable for the actor. Sonu Sood originally purchased this property back in 2012. He bought it for 5.16 crore rupees. Now, approximately 13 years later, selling it for 8.10 crore rupees means a substantial gain. He walked away with a profit of 2.94 crore rupees from the deal. It shows that while his heart is gold, his financial decisions are pretty smart too.

On the career front, Sonu Sood was last seen on the big screen in the film ‘Fateh’. This movie came out earlier this year. He took on double duty for ‘Fateh’, not only starring in it but also directing the film himself. While ‘Fateh’ didn’t set the box office on fire, Sonu Sood’s performance still earned him praise. Critics and audiences alike appreciated his action sequences and impressive fitness in the movie.
