Sonakshi Sinha just dropped a major update about her upcoming thriller film, Nikita Roy. The actress took to Instagram to announce the new release date of the movie. Along with a poster, Sonakshi wrote, “Mark your calendars! Our exciting thriller Nikita Roy has a new release date! Catch the mystery unfold on the big screen on June 27, 2025!”
The film, which was initially scheduled to hit theaters on May 30, 2025, will now arrive a month later. Nikita Roy is a psychological thriller that stars Sonakshi in the lead role, with her brother Kush Sinha making his directorial debut. The cast also includes Paresh Rawal, Suhail Nayyar, and Arjun Kapoor.
This isn’t the only exciting project Sonakshi has in the works. She’s also set to make her Tollywood debut with the film Jatadhara, a drama supernatural fantasy thriller directed by Venkat Kalyan. The movie stars Sudheer Babu in the lead role, alongside Sonakshi, Shilpa Shirodkar, Renee Anjali, and Divya Vij.
