Sonakshi Sinha is generating buzz for her upcoming film, ‘Jatadhara’. The actress has spoken about her unique experience with this project.
The film marks Sinha’s debut in South Indian cinema. She will star alongside actor Sudheer Babu. Sinha described her role as having a distinct and intense quality.
Sinha shared her reasons for taking on ‘Jatadhara’ in a recent interview with ANI. She highlighted the script’s originality and her character’s fresh portrayal.
“In this film, I have a very different role and a very different story,” Sinha stated. “It has mythological and supernatural elements, with a narrative connected to the soil.”

She added, “You have never seen me in this form before. This is my first Telugu film, and these were all reasons I chose this project.”
‘Jatadhara’ is slated for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025. It will be available in both Hindi and Telugu languages.
The ensemble cast also includes Divya Khosla, Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveen Neni, and Rohit Pathak.
Zee Studios and Prernaa Arora are producing the film. Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal are co-directing ‘Jatadhara’.
