Actress Sonakshi Sinha isn’t one to shy away from speaking her mind. She recently called out several brands for using her pictures without asking first. Her message was clear: take down those photos immediately. This bold move quickly garnered support from fellow actress Tabu.
Sonakshi shared her frustration on an Instagram story. She mentioned that as an avid online shopper, she often sees her own images on various brand websites. The problem, she explained, is that these brands don’t have the rights or permission to use them. “How is this even acceptable?” she questioned. She pointed out that when artists wear clothes or jewelry, a proper social media post is made to credit the brand. But using those exact pictures on a company’s official website feels like “too much of a stretch,” she stated.

She urged these companies to act ethically. Sonakshi delivered a clear ultimatum: “Before I start scolding you, either remove my pictures or tell me where I can send my invoice.” She left the decision to the brands, making it plain that unauthorized usage has consequences.
Her message resonated with others in the industry. Actress Tabu quickly reposted Sonakshi’s story, adding her own comment. She wrote, “Exactly my thought too. Thank you, Sonakshi.” Sonakshi later responded to Tabu, saying, “I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt this way.” On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha is preparing for her upcoming film, ‘Jatadhara,’ where she will star alongside Sudheer Babu.
